Hi Reader,
School starts this month, which means backpacks are coming out, calendars are filling up, and everyone is getting reacquainted with the concept of a bedtime. My baby is a high school senior this year, so I’m heading into this school year with a little extra appreciation for how quickly these seasons of life fly by.
As everyone settles back into a routine, it’s a great time to reconnect with the people who matter to you. So this month, I’m sharing three simple resources to help you do just that.
1. 💬 Open-Ended Questions
Sometimes the people we love most are the people we think we already know everything about.
These questions are designed to help you discover something new about someone you care about. Use them with your partner, kids, parents, siblings, friends, or anyone you'd like to know a little better.
Pick 10 questions, take turns answering, and let curiosity do the rest.
2. 🫶 Relationship Rituals: Moments That Matter
The little routines in our lives can become some of our favorite ways to stay connected.
Maybe it's coffee together in the morning, a Sunday walk, a weekly game night, a bedtime chat, or a Friday night tradition that belongs entirely to you and your people.
This exercise helps you look at the rituals you already have and create a few new ones worth keeping.
3.💕 Couples Workbook: The Basics
For the couples on my list, this one's for you. Grab your partner and work through a few of the exercises together. You'll find conversation prompts and simple activities to help you learn more about each other, appreciate what you already have, and strengthen your connection.
Think of it as a little relationship tune-up you can do together, preferably somewhere with snacks.
Life gets busy quickly. Before the school calendar, work deadlines, sports practices, and everything else take over, choose one person you care about and spend a little intentional time with them.
Ask a good question. Take a walk. Make coffee together. Put your phone down. Start a tradition.
The small things have a funny way of becoming the moments we remember.
Here’s to a little more routine, a little less chaos, and plenty of connection,

P.S. If these newsletters and resources have been helpful, I'd love it if you'd leave me a review. It helps other people find the support they're looking for.
