Hi Reader,
Summer is here, which means no school drop-offs—and a little more time for beach walks. My son just started driving (send snacks and prayers), and both of my adult daughters are moving back to California, which feels like such a gift. Life’s shifting, and I’m doing my best to soak it all in.
Summer tends to give us a little more breathing room. And with that space, sometimes things bubble up—conversations you’ve been avoiding, patterns you’re tired of repeating, or needs you’ve been pushing down for too long.
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re in good company. This month’s resources were made for exactly that kind of season:
1. 🎥 On YouTube: Couples Mini-Course Series
Short videos packed with tools to help you reconnect, communicate clearly, and get out of the same old argument loop. Designed for real couples who love each other and just want things to feel easier.
2. 🙊 Blog: Why It’s So Hard to Know What You Want—and Say It Without Guilt
If you were raised to keep the peace, prioritize others, or read the room before you speak up, it makes sense that expressing your needs can feel… complicated. This blog unpacks where that guilt comes from—and how to stop second-guessing what matters to you.
3. 👨👩👧 Parenting Through Divorce: Free Therapist-Backed Guide
If you're navigating a separation or coparenting shift, this free guide walks you through what to say (and avoid) when talking to your kids. Includes scripts, research-backed strategies, and a breakdown of parenting styles that influence how safe and supported kids feel—especially when things are changing.
Wishing you space to exhale, moments of real connection, and a little more ease this summer—whether that shows up in a conversation that finally lands, the clarity to know what you want and the courage to ask for it, or a beach walk that clears your head.
Warmly,
Megan
